Your pressure worked.
On February 16, 2012, Pat Buchanan finally confessed that he won't be returning to MSNBC.
Buchanan may continue to exercise his first amendment right to spew his white supremacist views as a private citizen, but he will no longer be paid to pass his racist and anti-semtiic views as mainstream political commentary on MSNBC.
CREDO members played a huge role in this victory, working closely with our allies at ColorOfChange who led the campaign. Over 198,000 CREDO Action members signed petitions. And 1,463 members called MSNBC to turn up the heat.
Rashad Robinson, executive director of ColorOfChange wanted us to convey his thanks directly to you:
"I wanted to say a special thanks to the members of CREDO Action, one of our best partners in the fight against racism. CREDO members helped put our campaign to convince MSNBC to end its relationship with Pat Buchanan over the top." -- Rashad Robinson, Executive Director of ColorOfChange.
